The Minnesota Twins defeated the Detroit Tigers 8-2 in game one of Tuesday's doubleheader. Trevor Larnach got the scoring started with a two-run double in the first, Gary Sánchez hit a three-run homer, and Max Kepler had a wonderful day at the plate. Devin Smeltzer was once again fantastic, going deep and allowing only two runs. The Twins are 30-20 and will play the Tigers again at 6:10 CT.
