Joe Ryan and new bullpen friends Michael Fulmer and Jorge Lopez combined with two others on a four-hitter against the Tigers on Wednesday afternoon at Target Field in a 4-1 win. Ryan lasted 5.0 innings with nine punchouts and no walks, and newly-acquired catcher Sandy Leon drove in a pair of runs in his first place appearance with the team.

The Twins are 55-49 and now await a four-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays starting Thursday.
