If you wanted an indicator of how this one went for the Minnesota Twins, it’d be hard to find one better than the Kansas City Royals winning for the first time all year in a game in which they’d trailed by at least three runs.

That’s right, the Royals were 0-66 in such games this season and had lost 69 straight such games dating back to last season.

The Twins are 73-75, and the death march is on with just 14 games left in the 2022 season.
