The Minnesota Twins chased #OldFriend Jose Berrios from the game in the fourth with five earned runs, but saw that lead evaporate as Tyler Mahle allowed three home runs and closer Jorge Lopez allowed the tying run with three singles in the ninth inning.

Still, the Twins kept pushing and won in the 10th as Nick Gordon streaked home with the winning run on Tim Beckham’s squibber to third base. With the 6-5 win, the Twins are 56-50 and up 2.0 games on both Cleveland and Chicago heading into Saturday’s action.
