The Cubs series followed a similar pattern to the Padres series, as the Minnesota Twins won the final two games after a series-opening loss. The offense was on point, scoring a Target Field-record 29 runs in a three-game series, with 27 of the runs coming in the final two games including a 16-run outburst on Sunday.

Now the Twins prepare to face the NL West-leading Dodgers, with Pablo Lopez, Bailey Ober and Sonny Gray slated to face Noah Syndergaard, Clayton Kershaw and Dustin May. The Twins will miss Julio Urias and Tony Gonsolin.
