Monday's makeup game in Detroit turned out to be a good one for the Twins. Bailey Ober started and once again pitched very well, allowing just two earned runs over six innings. Ober has been terrific over his last eight starts. Josh Donaldson stayed hot and hit his fifth homer of the last nine games, giving the Twins a lead. Jorge Alcala threw two scoreless innings and Alexander Colomé secured a shaky save.
