The Twins took game one from Cleveland Friday 3-1. Byron Buxton and Ryan Jeffers homered off Shane Bieber, who became the fastest pitcher to reach 100 strikeouts in baseball history. Kenta Maeda pitched seven scoreless innings to continue his excellent 2020 campaign. The Twins will send Rich Hill to the mound Saturday to duel with Zach Plesac.
