The Minnesota Twins got a much-needed victory over the Kansas City Royals at Target Field Monday night. Joe Ryan pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs and turning the game over to the bullpen. The Twins scored only four runs but they were enough to beat the Royals in game one. The Twins are 59-55 and are two games back of the Cleveland Guardians in the American League Central.
