The Minnesota Twins defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-1 to take the series at Target Field Wednesday afternoon. Joe Ryan was excellent, pitching five strong innings and striking out nine. Sandy León got the scoring started with a two-run double and the Twins added insurance on a Carlos Correa RBI knock and a Gio Urshela sacrifice fly. The Twins' new-look bullpen then shut the door with four scoreless innings and completed the series win. The Twins are 55-49 and will now host the Toronto Blue Jays for four games at home.
