The Twins will play only eight more games in the regular season. They are currently the four seed in the American League, one game ahead of the New York Yankees for home field in the Wild Card round. Minnesota will face the Chicago Cubs on the north side this weekend with hopes of holding on to their right to host the first round at Target Field.
