The Twins are home for a four-game series against the Kansas City Royals. Minnesota is 0-3 against the Royals this year after being swept last weekend at Kauffman Stadium. Jake Odorizzi will start Friday against right-hander Jakob Junis. Josh Donaldson remains out with a calf strain. Donaldson was scheduled to be reinstated from the IL Friday but isn't in the lineup for the series opener.
