The Twins haven't been linked to Tomoyuki Sugano in any prominent report this offseason. Sugano, a 31 year old righty who won MLB's equivalent of the Cy Young award in 2020, is expected to make his decision very soon. Sugano posted a tremendous 1.97 ERA in 137 1/3 innings in Japan in 2020. Could the Twins be in? Darren Wolfson implied maybe he's on their radar. If Sugano doesn't sign with an MLB club before Thursday afternoon, he'll seemingly return to the NPB for the 2021 season.
