Twins fall 4-3 to Cubs in practice game before opening day
Brandon Warne not only hosts Locked on Twins, but also runs Access Twins -- a Substack newsletter dedicated to independent coverage of the Minnesota Twins. Warne has covered the Twins in some form or fashion for more than a decade in all forms, and is returning to Locked on Twins after a four-year hiatus.
The Twins lost 4-3 in an exhibition game at Wrigley Field. Homer Bailey allowed two homers to Willson Contreras and another to Anthony Rizzo. The good parts: Miguel Sanó played strong defense at first, Jorge Alcala pumped 99 MPH and Josh Donaldson caught a barrel. Plus, updates on Jake Odorizzi and Byron Buxton.
