Twins Play Shoddy Defense in Loss to Royals

The Minnesota Twins played poor defense in a 5-2 loss to the Kansas City Royals Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium. Bailey Ober battled through five innings, allowing three earned runs including a leadoff homer to MJ Melendez in the first. Matt Wallner drove in both Twins runs in the losing effort. The Twins are 73-76 and have. one more game against the Royals Thursday afternoon. Josh Winder will start.
