The Minnesota Twins blew their 2-0 lead for the second day in a row, falling to the Kansas City Royals in the series finale at Target Field. Devin Smeltzer was fantastic, pitching seven scoreless innings. Tyler Duffey entered the game in the eighth and immediately blew the lead, surrendering three runs. The Twins' offense did nothing to help, squandering with runners in scoring position. The Twins are 27-18.
