The White Sox have made substantial early moves for the second straight offseason. Last year it was Yasmani Grandal on a four-year deal. This year it's a trade for Lance Lynn and the signing of Adam Eaton. Lynn comes from Texas where he finished sixth for the A.L. Cy Young award in 2020 and fifth in 2019. In return, the Rangers received RHP Dane Dunning and LHP Avery Weems. Eaton returned to the South Side after winning the 2019 World Series in Washington and struggling mightily in 2020.
